Jayme is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern.
Jayme earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 2012. She continued her education earning her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida in 2015. Jayme participated in additional education to earn her Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of South Florida in 2015.
Jayme has been providing therapeutic services in the behavioral health field over 4 years in outpatient, in-home and residential treatment settings. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work in varying aspects of the mental health field which has led her to experience working with Children, Adolescents, Couples, Families and Groups.
Jayme’s specializes in working with children, teens, couples and families. She is passionate about meeting the needs of her clients and helping them find functionality in their lives again.
Jayme’s approach is focused on building a strong therapeutic relationship and having a client-centered perspective. Jayme uses integrative therapy that meets the client’s needs- including, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, and Dialetical Behavioral Therapy.
