Meet Brittany Waldrop: Here To Serve You
Brittany earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida in 2009 and her Masters Degree in Social work from the University of South Florida in 2011. Brittany is Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the Florida Department of Health since 2014.
Brittany has been providing therapeutic services since 2011, working in child welfare and community based care. Brittany has experience treating children, teens and families through a variety of needs including ADHD, anxiety, adoption, depression, behavioral problems, social skills and trauma. Brittany has supervised an outpatient counseling program and is a Qualified Supervisor for Clinical Social Work Interns. Brittany has specialized training in Infant Mental Health, working with children 0-5. Brittany has been trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Circle of Security Parenting and Eye Movement Reprocessing Desensitization (EMDR).
Brittany feels that a strong therapeutic rapport is vital in helping her clients achieve their goals. She uses a warm approach to help her clients feel comfortable, connected and understood. Brittany assists her clients in learning new healthy and adaptive ways of coping and healing, as well as exploring the underlying causes of the current symptoms to create long term change.
