Meet Riley Arnemann, USF Intern: Here To Serve You
Hi, my name is Riley, and I am a USF marriage and family therapy and substance abuse and addictions intern at Revolutionary Change Counseling. I am grateful that you are taking the time to read a little about me to decide if I am the therapist for you. Whatever you are going through and no matter how small or big the problem or struggle is, we will walk through it together. You are not alone. I am here to actively listen and help guide and provide you with a space that allows you to be vulnerable and that is comfortable, safe, empathetic, compassionate, and optimistic. I am extremely excited and happy that you are considering investing in yourself by choosing therapy, because you deserve it. Whatever your goals might be, I want to help you achieve them because I want you to become the best version of yourself.
I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. I graduated from John Carroll University and Borromeo Seminary in Cleveland, Ohio. I majored in philosophy and double minored in Catholic Studies and Theology and Religious Studies. I have a heart for serving others. During my undergraduate years I spent my free time volunteering at a juvenile detention center, hospice, inner city high school, and various homeless shelters. After graduating college, I worked with middle school and high school teens as a youth minister and faith formation coordinator. Currently I am a graduate student in USF’s marriage and family therapy program and substance abuse and addictions certificate program.
I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. I assist clients with anxiety, depression, stress management, emotional bonding/intimacy, relationship conflict, relationship communication, parenting difficulties, and substance abuse and addictions. The models that I use for therapy are well-researched. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Also, if desired, I can provide faith-based therapy.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and cannot wait to begin this journey with you! firstname.lastname@example.org
